- 8/09/95 - Maintenance Release - of CP Utilities
- ─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
- 1. Cpmaint.exe was adjusted to delete users from the cp files immediately.
- Previously you would have to wait until another cycle of cpmaint.
-
- 2. Cpusrlog was adjusted to insure that cp_prf & cp_log records are
- synched. The result is that passwords & logons are entered into the
- system correctly. This was noticeable for sysops installing CP for the
- first time.

- 3/10/95 - Maintenance Release - CP 2.2
- ─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
- NOTE:
-
- We wish to thank everyone for their patience and diligence in testing cp
- and in reporting bugs and problems. Your input is invaluable. We are
- noticing a lot of problems in the subscription application area that are
- based upon a misunderstanding of how CP applies subscription templates.
- Please take extra care in reviewing this section of the documentation.
- If you feel after reading the section of the document related to template
- application then please do not hesitate to email tech support.
-
- Once again, many thanks to you all for helping to make CP such a great
- product. Tell others about it!
-
- BUGS FIXED IN RELEASE 2.2
- ─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
-
- 1. USER SUBSCRIPTION SCREEN, NON ANSI/GRAPHICS. If the number of
- subscriptions did not fill the screen and the user pressed either the
- 'next' or 'previous' key, the system did not respond...there are no other
- subscriptions. This caused some concerns in users who were less than
- awake. This has been changed. Now when a user presses either of these
- keys the screen is repainted whether or not there are more subscriptions
-
- 2. USER SUBSCRIPTION SCREEN, NON-ANSI/GRAPHICS. We discovered a bug that
- prevented the purchase process from being completed. Use the CPSUBOK.TXT
- file to insure that your users realize that their purchases were accepted.
-
- 3. SYSOP SUBSCRIPTION SCREEN. There was a bug that prevented a
- subscription from being SET properly.
-
- 4. USER ADDRESS SCREEN, NON-ANSI/GRAPHICS. The zip code screen has been
- adjusted to accept any format in the zip code field. This is in deference
- to our friends in far away places. howdy, Phil! :)
-
- 5. We discovered a bug in the Index Integrity Checking System.
-
- ─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
- 2/23/95 - Maintenance Release - CP 2.1
- ─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
- 1. The Sysop template editor ADD template routine was broken.
-
- 2. SYSOP SUBSCRIPTION EDITOR - The SET Option was not applying a template
- to the user record immediately. The SET option will now extend the
- user expiration date by the number of days indicated in the template
- being applied. The application of days occurs from the current date.
- ANY TIME THE USER HAS LEFT ON THEIR EXISTING SUBSCRIPTION WILL BE LOST!
-
- 4. The userlog.bbs and cp system paths were missing from the CPUSRLOG.EXE
- program. CPUSERLOG will now ask for these paths.
-
- 5. When you went into the User Profile Editor and Selected J to jump to the
- User Log Editor and Selected R for review CP would crash.
-
- 6. Throughout CP, the combination of ANSI=N and GRAPHICS=Y could cause
- unpredictable results. The method for handling zip codes, dates and phone
- numbers has been improved to provide greater stability. CP will now
- display the ASCII screens to a user if either ANSI or Graphics is turned
- off.
-
- 7. TEMPLATE EDITOR- Selecting ACCESS then ADD and then entering a template
- code and a template description followed by pressing enter then escape
- would cause CP to crash.
-
- 8. ENVIRONMENT EDITOR - TEXT - Hitting RESTORE on the screen caused the
- display to shift. Also if you made changes and hit RESTORE the
- screen paints would not always clear the previous display items.
-
- 9. ENVIRONMENT EDITOR - FLAGS - Hitting RESTORE on the screen caused the
- display to shift. Also if you made changes and hit RESTORE the
- screen paints would not always clear the previous display items.
-
- 10. ENVIRONMENT EDITOR - FLAGS - Hitting RESTORE added an "A" to the
- column on the line that is blank between Monitor User Age and New User
- Template.
-
- 11. In the User Profile Editor when you selected A to view answers the
- last two characters of the previous screen where it showed "active user"
- was not being cleared.
-
- 12. USER LOG EDITOR- Selecting ANSWERS would cause CP to crash.
-
- 13. TABS - The TABS numbers were not being imported into the CP database.
- A new field "Path to TABS" has been added in the
-
- 14. The non-ansi TABS input screen was not accepting the tabs code.
